Well, first did you look at those splits, are you kidding me, those are amazing splits up until mile 21 when unfortunately you didnt have the endurance to continue that pace. For someone who was training a ton on the Alter-G and not putting in the miles a 4:06 is such an amazing accomplishment that Im still blown away that you did so well on such a tough course. Please think about this because at the end of the day if everything was aligned for you and you werent injured and undertrained you would of absolutely super rocked this thing more than you did yesterday. I love this, diversity keeps us interested and interesting. At certian times in our lives different distances are suitable for our situation. This speaks volumes to me. I have encountered many times obtacles that prevent Marathon training. This should never make someone feel excluded from being a great runner. I loved running the Marathon and plan to do it again, for now all lesser distances are there to conquer! Some can even be more challenging.
