I was at the concert on Sept 23. The show was supposed to start at 7:30. At 7:45 an announcement was made that Cher was sick and that the show was cancelled. I have been a ridiculously huge Cher fan for 35 years. I have worked in theatre, opera, ballet, film and TV. A performer knows BEFORE they are to have already started their show if they are well enough to go on for that performance. HOWEVER, having been there that night, I do NOT blame Cher for getting sick. I do blame the house manager/stage manager/company manager/AEG Live for making the announcement 15 minutes AFTERr the show was to start. I blame them for the house staff not knowing what to tell patrons as they left. I blame them for basically throwing their hands up as people wanted to know about making future reservations, I blame them not doing ANYTHING to try to appease people for the inconvenience. Distrubute a voucher for a discount to be used for a future ticket, a discount for the Cher shop anything they might have done would have been better than the nothing they did. Im certain Caesars didnt appreciate watching an entire audience walk out disgruntled without playing a table or even dropping a quarter in a slot.So, yes, Cher get well! I will try to see you again, but hopefully lessons were learned, heads will roll and customer service will replace the Bambi in the headlights management team.

Although the Cubs are a very improved team, they have to overcome not only the St. Louis Cardinals in their own division, but some much better teams in the National League to even get into the playoffs. Their big question this year will be how their pitching staff will hold up. There is little doubt that they will score a lot of runs with Aramas Ramirez and the addition of Alfonso Soriano. Unless the Cubs make an in-season trade for an established starter, I honestly do not think their pitching will be enough to take them to the top of the division.

I am a CIO so I have a bit of knowledge about the internet and I have been on it since the early 90s. I am very good at doing research as it is a part of my job. If I give you a link its because I read it and regardless of its origin, I can vouch for authenticity or correctness. Some of you seem to think that you cant trust Wikipedia. Was the Britannica Encyclopedia any better?

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod's. It works well, but isn't as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that's not an issue, but if you're planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod's larger screen and better browser may be important.

The pairwise system still saw 5 WCHA teams make the top 16 in 2007-08 (with a total of 6 automatic berths for conference champions).

Seriously? I havent even seen the season finale and Im already crying. I cannot believe that theyre actually letting Chad and Hilarie go over what? Money? Contracts? Theyre the main characters, theyre the leading roles! Im just devastated because I am pretty sure that the show wont be the same. Leyton was what kept be watching (well, mostly) and by replacing them with new characters- well just have another OC-failure. You guys remember what happened in the 4th season of that show? After Marissas sudden death? The show lasted for another 16 episodes, before they had to let it go. Hopefully, One Tree Hill will continue for another 45years or so. But truthfully I think that the show wont be very successful after these recent news. Im just heartbroken and sad. What has happened to the movie industry? When did it became all about the money?

The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

Isnt the main reason this is possible is that the cheaters, who dont turn left on Oxford, just blend in with the hundreds/thousands of half marathoners making there way back in the last 4 miles. The marathon leaders dont see them or even know who they are when they pass them in the final miles. They just assume they are half marathoners.
